Change a Life with Your Donation

With your help, we can change the lives of students right here in the Dayton community. Your gift will directly benefit the students who aspire to go to college—and who will become the future leaders of our community.

Donations can be made directly to DECA PREP through the Friends of DECA Fund sponsored by The Dayton Foundation.

One way to donate to DECA PREP is to simply direct in your will or revocable living trust that your entire interest in certain money or property be transferred to DECA PREP. Your estate will be entitled to a charitable deduction for the full, fair-market value of your gift. You can include DECA PREP as part of your legacy by making a bequest to "University of Dayton, and Ohio not-for-profit corporation," UD's legal title and designating the gift to benefit DECA PREP.

You can also make a simple gift from your estate without changing your will or trust. You can avoid probate and may save income taxes and estate taxes.
  • Make bank accounts P.O.D. (payable on death) to DECA PREP
  • Name DECA PREP as beneficiary of retirement savings plan
  • Include DECA PREP as a beneficiary of all or a portion of your life insurancy policy
  • Transfer designated securities held in a brokerage account to DECA PREP through a T.O.D. (transfer on death) designation
